I did some vintage hairstyle drawings! I think they’re cute. Each is about 4x6.
I may add color? dunno.
To clarify why I added the “hair bow style” to the bunch, I actually got the idea from a vintage type ad. It was not from lady gaga! I’m not exactly sure what decade it is from but I like it.
I believe that the soul is never loaded. It’s always in us, like that white light wanting the best from us throughout whatever bad decisions we’ve made, with whatever motives that were wrong. The soul is there recording like a computer—so when we sit still, anything that’s really impressed us or molded us—we can draw upon that, and you can sit there and be quiet and you can see it.

♥ THIS TRAILER! THE SNOW WHITE COMPLEX
Or, as I like to unofficially call it, “The Worldwide Entrenchment of the Princess Complex in Queens of Color”
Fair or Not?: The Snow White Complex
Directed by: M. Hasna M.
“Fair or Not?: The Snow White Complex” is a documentary about Eurocentric standards of female beauty that are held across most (post-Colonial) cultures.
Some of the topics covered: Skin color preferences in relation to class/culture, the media’s role in exacerbating internalized racism, skin bleaching products, exoticism of dark-skinned women, and the phenomenon of tanning amongst White women.
